About

100_0848Hi,
I am Steve Neu, the Author of this Blog.
Living in South Florida has enabled me to explore my passion for bass fishing year round. I started bass fishing when I was about 11 years old. I fished every chance I could get and eventually started fishing bass tournaments when I was 15, had to get my father to sign all kinds of consent forms.

Since then I have fished hundreds of local tournaments as well as spending 2 years in my younger day fishing 2 major National Tournament trails. Starting a fishing career back in the mid 1980’s was difficult to say the least, I had to eventually get a “real job”.

Living on the water in South Florida has enabled me to continue my passion for bass fishing. I still compete in numerous local tournaments and continue to grow as a bass fisherman. I continue to keep up with the latest trends and tactics while still enjoying the old school approach to catching bass.

In this blog I will share some of my experiences both on the pro circuit as well as a practical approach for the weekend warrior to hopefully increase your bass catching abilities.

My other include flats fishing for tarpon, bonefish, snook and redfish. You would be surprised how sight fishing the flats for other species can relate to the habits of fish in general.

Enjoy my blog and feel free to comment on any of the post’, we can all learn a thing or two.
